My career goal is to ultimately become a proenvironmental engineer who works across academia and that industry. By conducting studies within the los angelesboratory and taking over real-globalobstacles within the industry, i am hoping i will be able to both advance world’s research on environmental topics and advise non-government organizations on conforming to regulations to preventmishaps in addition to implementing waste treatment systems. Finally i am hoping my work increasessociety’s awareness on local and worldwide environment issues, this type ofs destructive acid rains or global warming.
i think probably the maximumperfectmethod to pershapemy career goal is to first pursue a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, where i will be able to develop more in-intensityknowledge and understanding on environmental challenges we face nowadays, probably the maximumaccurate scientific interpretation of methodsthose challenges become present, and doubtless the maximumcomplexremedying techniques.
After completing my master’s program, i would like to continue my education and acquire a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering since issues on this field are so difficultthat diffehireproblems constantly occur or even attempts to unravel problems couldcause new troubles. I even believe engaging prematurelyd research shall better teachmyself for future career. i’m mostly interested within the treatment and control of dangeroussubstance and forgedwaste. My other research interests include remediation of contaminated soils and sediments， phytoremediation, and bioremediation.
My research interests stem from the 2 projects I participated through the second one and third year in my undergraduate studies. the basicproject is the readof the stabilization of bottom sediment polluted by Cr and Pb in Xiang River. My task is to investigate the kinds of metals and figure outtheir amounts in sediment samples, in which I developed the talents of total quantityresearchand understanding of the testing procedures of leaching toxicity. the second one project is the readof the consequences of exogenous Cd at the red soil urease, which was difficultand difficultand that i only tokcharge of getting readyagents for professionalfessors and analyzing data. Nevertheless, I still improved abilities of professionalcessing and analyzing data. as well as I also performed my very own experimental project, which aims at detecting the surroundingsal effects of the solar battery, to take part within the nationwide Challenge Cup competition. within the paper, I investigated the commercialbenefits brought forward by solar batteries and the way they are going to positively influence our surroundings.
i think that Purdue University is the most productive place for me to extramy complexdegrees. i’m especially interested in the research conducted at Purdue, namely the influence of organic compounds at the transportation of heavy metal in soils research by Professors Schwab, Zhu, Banks. i’m confident that joining such research group consisted of professionalcollegeshall most efficientbuilding upon my undergraduate experience and extfinishmy research abilities. Besides, i’m thinking about learning more on phytoremediation and bioremediation, the strength of Purdue, that is another this is because Purdue is my dream school.
